Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

PandaWatch is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA for this marketing site, and to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines for accessibility in the iOS and Android apps.

We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

This website (pandawatch.org) is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some content does not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

What we have done

• Added skip navigation links on all pages so keyboard users can bypass repeated content.
• All images have descriptive alt text; decorative images use alt="".
• All interactive elements have visible focus indicators.
• Text colour contrast meets WCAG AA minimums (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
• Semantic HTML landmarks (<header>, <nav>, <main>, <footer>) are present on all pages.
• All locale pages declare the correct lang attribute.
• CSS animations and transitions are suppressed when the user has enabled "Reduce Motion" in their OS settings.

Known limitations

• Third-party embeds (ConvertKit email signup form) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We have no control over their markup.
• Screenshot gallery images are decorative in context; they carry descriptive alt text but are not described in surrounding prose.
• The language switcher is English-only; locale page navigation labels are not yet translated.

Mobile App Accessibility

The PandaWatch iOS and Android apps target the following standards:

• iOS: Apple Human Interface Guidelines — Accessibility. VoiceOver labels are provided for all interactive elements and printer status indicators. Dynamic Type is supported up to the largest accessibility text sizes. Reduce Motion is respected throughout the app.
• Android: Android Accessibility Guidelines. TalkBack labels are provided for all interactive elements.

We use a combination of automated tests and manual VoiceOver/TalkBack testing to verify accessibility on each release.
